MA Talent 5K Scholars is a ₦250,000 program that trains ambitious Africans in Financial Analytics (now with Securities Trading) or Data Analytics (now with Python) through live weekend classes, hands-on projects and a pathway to a 3-6 month internship. Applying takes about 10 minutes and costs nothing.

Pick the scholarship that fits you when you apply, or skip it. Every scholarship below covers 94% of tuition; you pay the other 6% (₦15,000) once you are selected.
Applying costs nothing. If you are selected, your scholarship covers 94% of the ₦250,000 tuition (₦235,000) and you pay the other 6%, which is ₦15,000, to confirm your seat.
Do I need any experience?
No. Both tracks start from the fundamentals. Cohort 1 included complete beginners as well as people already using Excel at work, and both groups found the classes valuable.
How are the classes delivered?
Live and online, on Saturdays and Sundays, over six weeks, with career readiness sessions alongside. Recordings are shared so you can replay any lesson.
When will I hear back after applying?
Our team reviews applications and emails every applicant, usually within about 3 days. Keep an eye on your inbox (and spam folder) and on WhatsApp.
How long do I have to confirm my seat?
Scholarship places are held for 3-5 days after your offer. Unclaimed places are reallocated to the next qualified applicant, so confirm as early as you can.
What if I do not want a scholarship?
You can select "I do not want a scholarship" on the form and apply for a full-tuition place at ₦250,000 instead.
Is an internship guaranteed?
Every scholar who completes their track becomes eligible for a 3-6 month internship, virtual or physical, with partner organizations across finance, banking and data. MA Talent Africa has placed over 8,000 alumni at leading finance and investment firms.
